Overview
The Tourism and Travel Services Programme aims to educate prospective professionals who can actively work in the tourism industry, recognise ticketing and reservation services, and use the relevant information systems. Graduates of upper secondary school are admitted to the Tourism and Travel Services Programme according to their scores obtained from the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) of the university entrance examination.
A 30-workday compulsory internship is a prerequisite for graduation.

Students undertaking this program are well-educated to become qualified specialists having knowledge of the basic principles of the tourism and travel industry, familiarity with the industry’s latest developments, proficiency with tourism English and readiness to use English actively and effectively, insight into Turkey’s touristic destinations and cultural values while efforting to protect them, competence to effectually use the industry’s information technology systems in a computer world, and the capacity to work on an international scope while leaving an impression on the sector with their professional knowledge and skills acquired at school.
