Associate in Multidimensional Modelling and Animation
The history of 3D modelling, which has been irreplaceable in today’s gaming and animation world, dates back to even earlier than personal computers. 3D modelling, commonly used in the film and video game industries besides interior design and architecture, is also employed in various fields in the medical industry, such as anatomy, to make interactive presentations. Visual effects used in the movies, games we play on our mobile devices or computers, 3D and 2D productions, designs used in architecture, urban and regional planning, animations, cartoons, video games, most healthcare products and even products we use in our daily lives attract millions of people. Considering that the era we live in now is called the computer age, many designs and applications are developed as a product of software and computer-aided design programmes. Developed to create more impressive and effective designs, these programmes have become widespread in almost every sector. The multidimensional modelling and animation sector is also growing in our rapidly developing country. The cinema, television and advertising sectors and other relevant industries across the country where manufacturing processes are carried out with 3D printers and CNC machines are in search of skilled staff and they currently continue the production processes by usually buying services from outside the country.
Considering what is lacking in this field across the country, we aim to educate prospective skilled professionals with our Vocational School’s Multidimensional Modelling and Animation Programme and meet the sectoral needs.
The Department of Multidimensional Modelling and Animation aims to educate prospective creative designers who can effectively use modern equipment and come up with solutions to any visual design-related problems. Students will be able to gain a wider perspective, read a lot, question a lot, as well as being more open-minded, sensitive, and creative by the time they graduate from the Programme. We offer our students a high-quality education with our modern computer laboratory, an educational programme that is always being updated, and last but not least, a highly qualified academic staff. The programme offers Turkish-medium instruction.
