Bachelor in Acting
Being a part of Faculty of Fine Arts, Acting Department of Beykent University is a 4-year undergraduate programme. In collaboration with national and international contributors, the programme educates professional future actors and educators who are needed in Turkey and continuously improves the educational quality of the programme with the educational staff.
The Acting Undergraduate Programme ensures students to acquire intellectual knowledge and physical qualities under the profession’s ethical rules and modern methods. A range of classical theatre to modern theatre are taught in the Acting Programme. During the first five semesters, applied acting classes through variety of methods are introduced to students in order to help them build their own synthesise. In the last three semesters, the courses are designed to focus on practical skills, blending the obtained knowledge towards the application of staging. The curriculum is supported with workshops, conferences and seminars led by experienced national and international artists.
Program Specific Requirements
- The students are accepted to the Department through Special Talent Exams of Beykent University.
Career Opportunities
- Students who graduate from Department of Acting can work as actors, speakers, voice actors of theatres and all institutions of cinema, television, radio, publicity and advertisement industries at national and international level in accordance with their purposes and studies; or they can be employed at universities and various institutions of art education.
