Overview
The Programme in Pharmacy Services aims to educate prospective health professionals with high qualifications who have the required knowledge and skills to work in any branches of the medical and pharmaceutical industry. During their studies at our University offering all sorts of technical equipment, our students receive an education both in theory and practice required to perform their work correctly and fully. Graduates of our Programme have the opportunity to work as ‘‘Pharmacy Technicians’’ in a wide range of branches of the medical industry. The Programme offers Turkish-medium instruction.

Learning Outcomes
- In parallel with the economic development of our country and the developments in the health sector, working areas are gradually expanding, and thus, the importance of the health sector is also increasing. Thus, the Programme in Pharmacy Services aims to educate students in a completely scientific environment, enabling them to become semi-skilled employees who are in demand in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. Students receive an education to become technical semi-skilled employees with the required level of knowledge and qualifications, and proficiency who can work in laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry, and to present prescription preparations to the customers, and prepare the required medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Career Opportunities
- Professionals who completed the Associate Degree Programme in Pharmacy Services successfully can work in private pharmacies, pharmacy departments of public institutions, pharmaceuticals factories, pharmaceutical warehouses, laboratories, the medical industry.
- If the students pass the Vertical Transfer (Transfer from a Two-Year College to a 4-Year One) Examination (DGS) held by the Centre for Assessment, Selection, and Placement (ÖSYM) successfully, they can directly be transferred to the undergraduate programmes in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering.
- Besides, they can be employed in public hospitals which includes a pharmacy through the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS).
