Associate in Graphic Design
Along with the globalisation, the development of communication technology has made the countries and cultures closer to one another, and it has dynamised the advertising business. The developments have made the fields of publicity and advertising more important. With the help of theoretical and practical courses which constitute the parts of our modern educational programme prepared by the Department of Graphic Design, and enable our students to solve conceptual problems; the Programme ensures that our students will be able to improve their creativity and understanding of aesthetics, and use a computer and the internet efficiently during the design and production processes. Students learn by practising all the processes from the beginning of conceptual design to the production of printed materials.
The Department of Graphics aims to educate prospective designers who are creative, and can use complex equipment required by the era they live in. Students will be able to gain a broader perspective, read a lot, question, be open-minded, sensitive, and creative, by the time they graduate from the Programme. With the modern computer laboratory, constantly renewed educational programme, and the most important, the highly qualified academic staff, the Programme aims to realise its objectives.
Our understanding of modern instruction does not only focus on educating prospective semi-skilled labour, but also to educate individuals who are able to be aware of their environment and happenings, question, make syntheses, and projects, gain a creative identity to give priority to aesthetic values. With all this, we contribute to our country.

- The main aim of the Graphic Design Programme is to educate prospective designers who are equipped with technical knowledge and skills, as well as the talent for making unique designs. The students will be able to: Make unique and innovative designs with ethical and cultural values in accordance with the dynamic structure of the Graphic Design industry, and rapidly changing expectations. Use modern design software regarding Graphics. Organise the processes of design and production, solve problems, and run projects. Improve theoretical and practical knowledge in their field within the concept of lifelong learning. x
Career Opportunities
- Graduates of the Programme can work in: Advertising agencies, Printing houses, Written press, Visual press, Cinema and TV industry, Textile industry, Packaging industry, and Organisations with the department of graphics. They can also enrol at a programme through Vertical Transfer (Transfer from a Two-Year College to a 4-Year One) Examination (DGS). Departments available for Vertical Transfer: Graphic Arts and Graphic Design Graphics and Graphics Education Photography, and Photography and Graphic Arts
